Colorful banner with black bold letters "Q.R.W.R.K.", surrounded by abstract shapes and icons including a green circle, orange diamonds, pink cloud, and blue burst on a light background.

Pronounced “quirk”, QRWRK is a queer design & culture center. A place for QueeR WoRK.

A modern office space with a bright pink accent wall, a rectangular window, a black table with four black chairs, a potted plant, a neon pink sign that spells "FLOX STUDIOS," a clock, and large windows showing an urban cityscape.
Street corner with a sign spelling out 'BOOK' in large black blocks with white letters, some snow on top of the sign, bicycles parked nearby, and buildings in the background on a cloudy day.

Located in Philadelphia, PA, at the BOK Building (1901 S9th Street - Room 302A), QRWRK is a bright, bold and plant-filled  2,500 sq ft space inspired by queer and feminist organizing spaces that existed in many cities and towns through the late 1990s.

We view queer work as work that is about facilitating, liaising, connecting, transforming and futuring. And it can be done by anyone!

Depending on when you show up - QRWRK may look like a coworking space, a nightclub hosting a queer comedian, or it may be set up for a teach-in on conflict resolution or healing justice, a space for community song or perhaps it’s set up for a non-profit retreat.

Our goal is to elevate, celebrate and affirm queer design and culture – think of us as queer centric, but not queer exclusive. All are welcome!
